Building from source

Freecycle depends on the following librairies:

Make sure you have a recent version of those libs installed on your system before attempting to build Freecycle. You may consider checking out the README

You can get the latest source snapshot here:

Or you can get the CVS version using the instructions found here:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/cvs/?group=freecycle

For the 0.6 series you should checkout the MAINTENANCE_0_6_ALPHA branch by issuing the following command:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.nongnu.org:/sources/freecycle \
co -rMAINTENANCE_0_6_ALPHA freecycle
